Digital Support Drop-in Sessions
Free digital drop-in session to help with technology and accessing online healthcare services
We are running a free digital drop-in session with national charity AbilityNet. It will take place on Friday 21 March 2025, from 12 pm to 2 pm at the practice. The session is open to all patients and local residents who need help using technology or accessing online healthcare services, such as the NHS App and Anima.
AbilityNet will offer one-to-one support for anyone needing help with their smartphones, tablets, or other devices. This includes changing settings, improving security, fixing common issues, and learning how to use online healthcare services, such as viewing test results and ordering a repeat prescription.
Staff from the practice will be available to help patients set up Anima accounts and answer questions about using our online services.
Dr Tom Ashley-Norman, GP Partner at The Hereward Practice, said: "We know technology can sometimes be confusing, especially when using online healthcare services. This session is here to offer clear and practical help, and we encourage anyone who needs support to come along."
No need to book – just drop in between 12pm and 2pm. Laptops will be available, but please bring your own device if you can.
